How can I pay for my purchase?

Purchases within Sri Lanka

  • The COD option is only available for purchases within Sri Lanka.
  • Other acceptable payment methods include Visa, Master or Amex cards. We also accept FriMi, Genie, M-Cash, Ez-Cash and Tokenization.

Purchases outside Sri Lanka

  • For purchases originating in countries other than Sri Lanka, only pre-paid payments are accepted using one of our payment options.
    We accept payments via Visa, Master or Amex cards.
  • At the time of payment, you will be directed to the payment gateway which is secured with an encrypted connection of the respective bank.
  • Once the payment is made you will be re-directed back to the DoubleXL website.
  • If any clarification is required about the safety of the online payment contact the relevant credit card center for customer relations.
  • In case of a payment failure, please retry ensuring the below –
    • Information passed on to payment gateway is accurate i.e.: account details, billing address, password (for net banking).
    • Your Internet connection is not disrupted in the process
    • Verify with the Bank whether your card has sufficient funds to make the necessary payments.
Where is my order?

Once the payment has been made you will receive an e-mail confirming the item you have purchased, which includes the order confirmation number as well as a tracking reference number and the link from the courier.

Can I cancel or change my order?
  • Your order could only be canceled due to the unavailability of an item; the wrong product being advertised or the wrong price being advertised.
  • Double XL will inform you in such instances and arrange a refund or a replacement.
I have a Gift Voucher. How do I use it for purchase?
  • You can redeem your Gift Voucher at all of our Double XL & DXL stores.
  • Once sold, Gift Vouchers are not refundable.
  • You can redeem your Gift Voucher to purchase any product in our outlets. But we will not refund the money if the
    value of the Gift voucher/s exceeds the value of the item/s you purchase.
  • A gift voucher is not replaceable.
  • Once you receive the Gift Voucher through mail check whether it bears the seal of Double XL. If you need further
    clarifications, you can always call our hotline for further clarifications.
  • Every gift voucher is valid for 1 year from the date of issue. Every Gift voucher shall be subject to Double XL
    terms and conditions. Double XL has the right to verify the authenticity of the Gift Voucher at the time of
    redeem of the Gift Voucher.
Delivery to my address?

Orders will be delivered to the locations within 14 working days & there will be a delivery cost added to the total order value.

  • Delivery duration and time taken for delivery will fluctuate based on the availability of the item you have
    ordered and on the delivery location.
  • Local
  • Items will be delivered to the address specified by you. We Deliver Island wide and a delivery cost will be
    added to the total order value.
  • International shipping
  • We deliver internationally. However, certain products may not be available for international shipping. We use a
    professional courier to ensure that your package is delivered on time and in good condition.
Can I save an item I like?

I have not received all the items in my order. What should I do?

Check your e-mail to see whether we have sent you an e-mail informing you that one of the items in your order is not available. In this case, we will refund you the corresponding amount for this item and the delivery expenses via the same payment used for the purchase.

If you have not received any e-mail, contact us and our team will get in touch with you immediately.

The items received are incorrect or are defective. What should I do?

If you have received an item that is defective or different from the one ordered, we will refund the item and the delivery expenses as soon as we have been notified and proof received. Click here Return & Exchange policy to see more.

To process the return, you have to complete the returns note and enclose it in your parcel.

Are the items included in the shopping cart reserved automatically?

No, including an item in the shopping cart does not reserve it or guarantee its availability. Some much-in-demand items may go out of stock before you confirm your purchase despite being available when you added them to your shopping cart.
